Scheduled class settings

The following table describes the fields that can be changed when modifying a class, as described in Modify, cancel, or restore a scheduled class.

Field name

Description

Substitute class

Select a different class to replace the remaining sessions. This option is only available when editing a scheduled class.

Location

Select the business location where the class will be held. If virtual services are enabled for the class, set the Virtual service can be booked from other locations option to ON to allow your clients to book virtual services from other locations.

Start date

Determine the date on which the class will begin. If the class has already begun, you can’t edit this date.

  • Note: Modifying the START DATE or END DATE of a single class session will automatically remove all the clients from the class’s attendance list. However, modifying the START DATE or END DATE of a class in a recurring booking won’t remove clients from the class’s attendance list.

End date

Determine the date on which the class will end. If there is no end date, select the Ongoing option to ON.

Start time

Specify the time at which the class will start:

  • Select the hour.

  • Select the minute. The options are set in increments of five.

  • Select AM or PM.

If you want to add additional sessions within the date range, click the Add button and enter the start time and duration of the additional session(s).

Duration

Specify the length of time the class should last:

  • Select the number of hours from the list.

  • Select the number of minutes from the list. The minutes variable is set in increments of five.

Day of the week

Select the day of the week on which the class will be offered.

Repeats every

Select the frequency of the class:

  • Select the number of weeks, months, or years from the list.

  • Select week, month, or year from the list.

Price

Enter the retail price for the class.

Room

Enter the room name or number where the class will take place. The name should be mutually understood by all staff members and clients. The room name will appear beside the class name when a client books a class or views their schedule in the Client Web App and Achieve Client App.

Set Publish Date

If you want the class to be available for client booking on a specific date and time, set the Set Publish Date option to ON. Staff members will be able to book a scheduled class regardless of the date it is published.

Publish Date

Determine the date on which the class will be available to clients for booking.

Publish Time

Specify the time at which the class is available for booking:

  • Select the hour.

  • Select the minute. The options are set in increments of five.

  • Select AM or PM.

Set Unpublish Date

If you want the class to be unavailable for client booking on a specific date, set the Set Unpublish Date option to ON. Staff members will be able to book a scheduled class regardless of the unpublish date.

Unpublish Date

Determine the date on which the class will be unavailable to clients for booking. This date can’t be deleted when modifying the class from the schedule.

Unpublish Time

Specify the time at which the class will be unavailable for booking:

  • Select the hour.

  • Select the minute. The options are set in increments of five.

  • Select AM or PM.
